JiffySoft products are designed with an eco-friendly mindset, aimed at minimizing chemical use in our lives. For years, water treatment for drinking systems has been dominated by water softener companies that have, through various negative marketing campaigns, claimed that magnetically treated water has no impact or benefits on water hardness. However, today, many of these companies actually incorporate magnetic technology into the systems they offer (just check the fine print).
Water conditioning can be complex. Most water treatment companies promote the narrative that city water supplies are highly toxic or filled with chemicals, such as elevated levels of chlorine and fluoride. Generally, this is not the case; the real issue is typically water hardness.
Developed in the 1960s by a physics professor at Cal Poly Pomona, this technology has faced challenges in the United States—mainly due to misuse and negative press from sodium- or salt-based manufacturers. These same manufacturers are now facing scrutiny from many water authorities due to high sodium levels in water treatment plants. As a result, alternative solutions like magnetic water treatment are gaining popularity for their natural approach to water conditioning. It’s important to note that water “softening” and water “conditioning” are two distinct methods for addressing water hardness.
Water conditioning, such as using strong magnets, is a natural and safer way to manage calcium precipitation in your water. This process can either 1. return the calcium back into solution, or 2. change its structure so it won't adhere to pipes and fixtures. You may notice some signs of evaporated calcium that are easier to clean away. Magnetic water is much healthier for you and your family, and animals and plants will also benefit from better hydration.
Best of all, NO SALT NEEDED!
